Online Group Piano Lessons
For Beginning Students
Our online group piano lessons are designed to be energetic, encouraging, and highly interactive—making them an excellent choice for beginning piano students. Learning in a small group setting helps reinforce core musical skills through repetition, listening, and shared experiences. Students meet live on screen in classes of just 4–6 children, allowing for individual guidance while benefiting from the structure and motivation of a group.
In these 1-hour weekly live online classes, students enjoy:
Playing piano at home while learning alongside peers on screen
Interactive musical games and activities that strengthen rhythm, note reading, and other foundational skills
Confidence-building opportunities to play for classmates in a supportive online environment
A balanced mix of individual playing time, group participation, and creative exploration
Group lessons are especially powerful for beginners because students regularly hear concepts demonstrated, see others learning the same skills, and revisit fundamentals in multiple ways—helping musical concepts “click” more naturally and confidently.
Students progress together as a cohort, creating a sense of community and shared success—even in an online environment.
Tuition is $160 CAD per month, automatically billed on the 1st of each month.
Online Private Piano Lessons
For Intermediate & Advanced Students
Private online piano lessons at Happy Hands Piano Academy are designed for students who have completed our beginner group program and are ready for more focused, individualised instruction. At this stage of learning, one-on-one lessons support deeper musical understanding, refined technique, and long-term musical growth.
Private lessons are offered by invitation only to students who have graduated from our group beginner classes. This ensures each student enters private study with strong fundamentals, independence, and the readiness to benefit fully from individualized instruction.

Weekly private online lessons via Zoom
Lesson length of 30 or 45 minutes, assigned based on student level and readiness
Personalized instruction tailored to individual goals and learning needs

Tuition
30-minute private lessons (Intermediate): $180 CAD per month
45-minute private lessons (Advanced): $225 CAD per month
